How to Top Off Your Tank with Water and Plant Food (Full/Regular Dose, Not First Time)

The same steps and tips are written below.
Kelby will let you know when it's time to top off your tank along with how much water and plant food to add through a task in the app. This includes when it's time to add plant food for the first time when you've started all new plants on your Gardyn, which has a slightly different process than what's detailed here.
Whenever you need to dissolve plant food to top off, follow these easy steps to ensure your plants get all the nutrients they need - no more, no less! Dissolving your plant food first ensures the nutrients remain bioavailable, or ready, for plant uptake and healthy growth.
1. Dissolve plant food
Fill a 1-gallon container with warm tap water, add the recommended amount of Gardyn Plant Food based on your plants’ growth stage and variety, then shake to mix. We suggest mixing 1/2 teaspoon at a time to ensure it fully dissolves. The Gardyn Spoon makes plant food dosages easy with a sliding adjuster and only the 3 measurements needed for Gardyn Plant Food.
1/2 teaspoon per 1 gallon of water (True Leaves & Early Growth)
1 teaspoon per 1 gallon of water (Blooming & Fruiting)
Tip: Up-cycle common 1-gallon containers, such as water jugs or milk cartons. Just ensure it’s clean before using it!
2. Pour into Gardyn
Remove the small wooden cap to use the watering compartment opening in the lid.
3. Repeat as needed
A full Gardyn Home tank holds 5 gallons of water, and a full Gardyn Studio tank holds 4 gallons. The amount of plant food depends on your plants’ growth stage and variety: use ½ teaspoon per gallon of water for True Leaves and Early Growth, and 1 teaspoon per gallon for Mature, Blooming, and Fruiting plants.
Tip: Don’t forget to add HydroBoost for a cleaner Gardyn & healthier plants! Dosage is based on your Gardyn type (Home vs. Studio) and water type.
For the healthiest growth, keep your tank half full or more at all times
The lower your water level gets, the more your tank's plant food concentration can become off balance. Regularly topping off your tank with fresh water and plant food helps stabilize your tank's plant food concentration, letting your plants thrive.
