Troubleshooting Power Issues
Warning: Gardyn Studio power supplies should NEVER be used on a Gardyn Home!
First, double-check that the connections to the power supply and the connection to the power switch at the back of your Gardyn are snug. Sometimes these unknowingly become unplugged while cleaning around your Gardyn or moving it, so ensuring everything is plugged in is your best first step and may resolve your issue.
If your Gardyn is still not powering on after this initial check:
Check that your Gardyn's power switch is in the ON (-) position. If the power switch is turned off, flip on and allow the Gardyn to reboot. Continue to next step if the Gardyn still does not power on.
Locate the box on the power supply. Does it have a small, solid green light glowing?
Flip the power supply switch to the OFF (o) position. Unplug the power supply from the back of the Gardyn and the wall outlet.
Wait for the green light on the power supply box to completely stop glowing.
Once the green light is no longer glowing, plug the power supply back into the wall outlet and the back of your Gardyn.
Then, flip the power switch off and on 10 times in a row (off/on equals one time). While you're doing this, watch the light bars: you should see them blink at least once throughout the ten times. It is a very fast and faint blink, and you don't need to see it blink with every on/off flip.
After the 10 switches, leave the power switch in the ON position and wait 5 minutes. If you see the lights turn on after the 5 minutes, you're good to go! If the lights do not turn on, continue to the next step.
Test if the light turns ON/OFF by short pressing (clicking) the silver button on the lid for 1 second. If the lights turn on or off, depending on their status before you clicked the button, your Gardyn is good to go!
