Harvesting Leafy Greens

If you're growing on Gardyn Studio, regularly harvesting is even more important to help manage your plants' size to keep any one plant from shading others too much!

There are two different methods for harvesting leafy greens: outer leaves or the whole head.

Most Gardyners choose to harvest outer leaves for continuous growth and harvests. Watch the video to learn how, and remember to leave at least 1/3 of the plant behind to let the inner leaves keep growing.

Note that choosing to harvest the whole head at once results in a single harvest. If you choose this method, cut the head of greens at their base once mature, then discard the yCube.
