What is my Care Score and how do I use it?

You Care Score in the app helps you learn how to care for your Gardyn with love so your plants reward you with big, healthy harvests. It is a score from 1-100, with 5 different ratings depending on where your score falls: Poor, Subpar, Fair, Good, and Excellent.

Once your Care Score is ready, Kelby will let you know. You'll find your score listed on your home screen, and you can tap the Insights tab to start diving deeper into your score.

Your Care Score is based on a wide range of factors you have the power to act on. From your top-off routine to trimming, light schedule to watering, it’s all considered.

We consider your routines over time to give you a comprehensive evaluation. This is why your score may take a few weeks to calculate for new users and for those who just reset their SOW Date. Once your score is active, it recalibrates daily to account for any changes.

In your Insights tab, you'll find Kelby's advice to improve your care routine (and score) based on the areas where you have some room for improvement. Kelby is on your side!

You'll also find a list of all the factors that contribute to your score.

Tap on any factor, like "Tank top-offs", to get details on how you can nail a perfect score in that area. Plus, you'll learn how each factor leads to bigger, healthier growth and you'll get connected to resources related to that factor.
