Can I switch my lights to go on at night instead of during the day?
Edited
Unless your Gardyn is in a dark space during natural daylight hours, such as in a basement with no windows, we do not recommend switching your lights to go on at night.
This is because plants need a period of darkness to perform all of their biological functions, just like humans need sleep. If your Gardyn is in a room with daylight during the day, and then it receives full-spectrum LED light at night, your plants can be negatively affected. Over-lit plants can grow pale, skinny, and overall weaker, which can attract unwanted diseases and pests. For this reason, we recommend keeping your lights scheduled for daytime and letting your plants "sleep" when you do.
