Understanding the Status Bar on the Home Screen in the App

The status bar on your app's home screen helps you quickly and easily see whether Smart Watering (formerly Kelby Assist) or Vacation Mode are enabled, plus how many credits you have. To activate/deactivate either Smart Watering Assist or Vacation Mode, simply tap the status bar to be taken to your settings.

When you enable Smart Watering, Kelby fine-tunes your water schedule based on your plants' development to optimize growth. Members enjoy Kelby's help adjusting their water schedule throughout their Gardyn's entire life cycle, while non-members only receive a specialized schedule for their first few weeks of growing.

In your settings, the toggle for Smart Watering will be green when it's activated, or grey when it's deactivated:

Enjoy your time away with Vacation Mode and grow worry-free for up to 2 weeks! On Vacation Mode, Kelby adjusts your Gardyn's light and water schedules to put your plants' growth on pause so you don't miss a thing.

In your settings, you'll see a toggle near the top where you can select to turn Vacation Mode on. As long as Vacation Mode is activated, the rest of your settings will be temporarily hidden because Kelby is managing it all while you're away.

Gardyn Home growers can bank up to 30 credits at a time, while Gardyn Studio growers can bank up to 16. Members receive 10 (Gardyn Home) or 5 (Gardyn Studio) free credits each month to redeem in the app's shop.
