Gardyn Studio, Step 1: Unpacking

Let's get to know the parts of your Gardyn by carefully unpacking the box.

First, remove your Welcome Kit at the end of the box, which contains your 16-preseeded capsules, called yCubes, followed by the bottle of plant food beneath the Welcome Kit. Also take out your printed Grow Guide so you can follow along with each step.

Remove the box labeled as the LED light bar and carefully set it aside.

Remove the two columns, beginning with the one closer to the box flap. You'll notice that the last two modules on each column are unassembled. This is normal, and we'll guide you in the next video when it's time to assemble them.

Next, remove the extra packaging with the cutouts, followed by the box of yPods.

You're now ready to remove the extra cardboard over the lid so you can remove the entire lid box.

Carefully remove the lid from the box and set it aside. Be gentle with it, as the lower blade contains important metal connectors.

Take out the box of upper structure parts, which includes the upper blade, metal rod, connector plates, plugs, and plant food spoon.

Remove the water tank and peel off the tape on its sides. Finally, remove the power supply box.
